She is totaly crazy. That poor little girl. She was so scared. She didn't know what was happening.

Yup
You could tell her whole family didn't want to be there and hated the situation.
I think honestly she has mental problems and this was a break down of sorts.
The way the Father was just sitting there it felt like he was riding out a familiar storm.
And then she accepted the money later?
She probably got some help later and is lucky her family is loving and stuck around.
