It would gradually get smaller and smaller and the hat would be left empty, without a body.
But I like that the kittens play with it.

I like this! LaMeow saves the day with a method that is somehow both peaceful and gruesome at the same time. It's like pacifism with a twist!

No, because the process will be so gradually that he wouldn't notice and then the kittens jump on top of him and scratch it to pieces. The balloon knot hit a kitten.
