So, I'm a lefty, and hubby is righthanded. (take note of that!).
Due to the zoster, which is healing now by the way, and the carpal tunnel syndrome, both in my left hand and both equally painful, I am forced to use my right hand for everything, even writing. I'm getting very good at using my right hand, even at writing. My right hand writing is better than my hubbies. Homestly, though it's not a game, it makes me feel good about myself.

My day so far.
So. Where I work, I'm posted coverage in the health services area, today there were to security staff back there including myself.
A client brought his urine sample to get tested, and that gets done at the hospital.
Normally​ transport staff would do that, but they were busy.
So I brought it to the hospital lab.
Yep, my day so far consisted of delivering someone else's urine sample to the lab.

Like an idiot I volunteered for subsequent shift overtime, and got given subsequent shift overtime. Which would be fine, but it's only halfway through my week, so yesterday I worked 2-1030, then 1030-630.
Now I go to work at 2 again, because I should have waited until Sunday (my Friday) to volunteer.
Then of course my mother was joking "hopefully you don't get forced tomorrow night"
What everyone forgets. I normally only get only a few hours of sleep, so the fact that I'll only get like 5-6 hours of sleep today doesn't mean a whole lot to me.
Back at my last job, of go to bed at 8 and wake up at 2 for work twice a week, so today I'll be sleeping from 7-1

I lied... I fell asleep around 7, like I had hoped.
But then my dumb brain woke me up at 9.
Fine, I'll fall back asleep!
Or not.. I only was less than half asleep from 9 until noon.

So, go to work for 8 hours (My mother keeps joking about "Oh, what if you get forced tonight?"
Hopefully I don't get forced overtime, so I can come home and sleep some more.

I tried the PS4 virtual reality stuff yesterday. Very intense! So much so that I had trouble getting to sleep when I got home from my friend's house.

Also, tried a new technique making a B52 that worked quite well, and I will be using it from now on.

what technique did you use? My father is really good at knowing which alcohols are denser, and then he uses a spoon to pour over so that it stays layered

I did an edge of glass pour under rather than a pour over with a spoon. If you spoon it, it goes Kahlua, Bailey's Grand Marnier. if you pour under, it goes Grand Marnier, Baileys, Kahua.

All I have right now is crown, so I can't try that technique out, unless I make a run to buy some.

At the booze store you can get sample bottles of the stuff you need for about 2 or 3 bucks each.
Then do your thing and it should look like this:


You can either drink it all at once, or one layer at a time. Good stuff!

A very similar shot that I like, rather than grand marnier, it's crown, and it tastes a lot like chocolate milk. Humorous name, the Duck Fart

How, you're wondering?

I was putting a bookshelf *back* together, and only have a hand screwdriver.
I was making sure the screws were tight (this particular screw goes into metal, and was a tighter fit), and apparently was putting too much into and my hand started to hurt a little from the friction. So I stopped, and look at my hand to see a little bubble. Okay. Sure, I don't mind blisters in general, they don't tend to last long.
But this one was slightly red. Blood blister. I haven't had one of these in probably 10+ years. All I remember from when I had one was that it was one of the most painful things I'd ever encountered at the time.
So I ice it.
I had an ice pack in my freezer to keep my lunches cold. I grabbed that and put it on my hand.
I don't know if you're supposed to ice them, but I did.
Then o go to Google what to do with them on my computer, and my internet was down. What the heck? So I grab my phone, disable wifi, and look it up on my phone. A few websites suggested putting ice on them, so I guess I made a good call.

after looking at it again, I realise it doesn't seem quite dark enough to be a blood blister. so I think it's just a regular blister and the skin is just really red from being irritated.. that's more of what it looks like.

my glasses broke. one of the screws that holds the right ear thing on fell out.
I can't find it, so it's super glued on now.
fortunately, I have another pair ordered already, so hopefully soon I will get an email telling me my glasses came in so I can go pick them up
