And I think this is because I work a security position at work, but, every time I have a dream that involves security or law enforcement (cop, mall cop), it's always one of my coworkers now. I had a dream where one of my buddies was shooting a gun in town (at the wall of my house, actually, and the officer that showed up was one of the A-Team guys from work.GreatZot wrote:Dreams can be crazy. I got angry at my French lesson because I was reviewing stuff I already knew, and it was testing me on stuff I have never learned. "Wrong!" "Yeah? No shazam! I got it wrong! Faaack!"

Figured out why my rear washer fluid was leaking! I had thought it was a broken tube, turns that I just didn't look hard enough, and it was just a disconnect in a spot that was easy to reconnect.. now, as to why it disconnected? No clue!

Finished that French lesson. I was in a wee bit of a funk yesterday, which is odd, because the day before I had helped a friend replace his battery and alternator, and I really like helping people.

Today, I am going to test a couple of blu-ray players, then test some computers that I want to use to build MAME cabinets. I am a perfect example of,"Idle hands are the Devil's plaything." Or something. I need to stay busy. or I waste a TON of time.

Tidied the house a little bit. Then a friend called and said his surgery was moved to an earlier time,
so I am heading down tonight so I can give him a ride early in the morning.
Also, I did a little research on my car, and I think there is a worn part in the drivetrain, but I have no time to fix it before I make this 100 mile drive.....

There and back safely. my friend's procedure went smoothly. Had some nice conversations. Traffic was not so bad, and the car drove well. Now I'm gonna have a slice of pizza and maybe a beer and watch a movie.

It's snowing over here, but it's a little over frezing point, so it doesn't stay.

I have a sales show on my home turf today. It is a gun show, and there are all kinds of vendors there.
The space is smaller than I would like, but I can make it work. After these last two shows were crappy, I hope this one does well.

My buddy has a cabin on his property that's attached to a trailer house, both of which was full of junk from an auction, today we spent the entire afternoon clearing out the cabin side so we can use it to play games in.
When he started this morning, it was filled stacked full of boxes, now it's mostly cleared out and basically what's left is letting the dust settle, sweeping, and getting it all set up for our reboot of our dungeons and dragons campaign on Saturday. Basically, sealing the windows and insulation.

I was betrayed by technology. I recently got a smart phone, and I installed the DuoLingo app on there so I could still practice when I was on the road with no laptop or no internet connection. No big deal. On DuoLingo I have been practicing French consecutively for 288 days. Oh, I guess I meant zero days. See, somehow when i was using the app on my phone, it adjusted my daily minimum requirement to 20 exp rather than the ten exp I've been doing from my computer. So yesterday before I had to go sell knives, I practiced a quick lesson -- 10 exp -- and then got ready for work. Today I logged in to see that I now had zero days in a row. As someone with a little OCD, I found that to be a bit upsetting. I mean, I did indeed practice yesterday. So technically I have now done 289 days in a row,
but blah blah blah the counter reset to zero. Dammit.
