I really hope our country hasn't gone so far down the shitter that we actually elect one if these assclowns though. My fingers are still crossed for Bernie getting the democratic spot, but Hilary is good too.

The more ridiculous the republican party becomes, the less likely that a republican president will be elected. They get a lot of traction and media because they're outrageous, but the majority of the population actually has a level head. Just look at the last election and see how it went? The only one that actually stood a chance was Romney and that's because he could be completely controlled and was nowhere near as ridiculous as Santorum.
