[Unresolved] Problem with mouse recognition in game window

Please report any and all mistakes in my game here. Does something not work properly? Did I spell something wrong? Anything like that.

[Unresolved] Problem with mouse recognition in game window

Post by Dmitri »

Hey guys I return, anyone remember me? So since I've played this game last I've gotten a new laptop and since then I've had some issues playing this game in the screen size I want. Whenever I take my browser to the 250% screen size, the game doesn't recognize my mouse anywhere on the right side of the screen. To use a specific example, when I was doing my most recent playthrough of the game I first experienced an issue on stupid Level 10 because even when I hover over the area to click with my cursor, my mouse won't turn into a hand. (meaning it won't recognize there is a button to click there) If I go down to zoom level 200, everything works fine. At first I thought that it was an issue with the entire game screen needing to be displayed on the monitor, but then again if I enter full screen mode at 250%, I can fit the whole screen in there but I still have issues. I'd like to play the game at full screen if possible. Seems like a crazy issue to have, I looked for a solution online first but had no luck there. Any help is appriciated! :D
If I'm not playing Never Ending Level Game, it might be because I'm watching NASCAR.

I do remember you, nice to see a familiar username :D

This is the first I heard about this issue.

At work but can't test it but the game is also not intended to play this way

you may have more success changing your screen resolution to lower so the game is bigger (pain I know)

Let me know, and if anyone else wants to experiment in the meantime please do.

Are there any other windows open or programs running in the background? That could cause problems with flash player. You could also try to update flash and your mouse (or touchpad) drivers.

I'm wondering if anyone else tried to play by zooming in the browser like this and if it even works, may be a flaw in Flash itself.

My laptop has a resolution of 1366x760, I zoomed in to 200%, 240%, 300%, and the button was recognised.
Dmitri, what web browser are you using? Also, what version of flash? Like Clarence said, it might be an issue with Flash itself.

I just tried level 10 with 250%, didn't work. With less or more than that it worked fine.

Wondering what browsers people are using that may be producing different results

Could be a flash version too

So many variables!

Bottom line

We may not have a good solution to this, Dmirti.

you may have to just sit closer to the screen :P

Do you want me to test this extensively Clarence? Because I could make you a spreadsheet with what does and does not break the button on level 10.

However, I only have my laptop right now, as I am halfway across the country from my desktop, so I can only test this on Windows 10.

Meaning I can only test different browsers and versions of flash.

I also cannot do this until I get to a hotel, as I do not have enough data on my mobile plan (Tethering my phone to my laptop) to download different browsers / versions of flash

Tried on multiple browsers, and can confirm that 250% zoom breaks that button.

While I know lots about computers and internet, I know very little about flash.
