So I couldn't find it and so I got a new copy and started over. I realized that there were some things about the game that really annoyed me.
1.) Having a 95% chance to hit the target and missing twice in a row.
2.) Laws that are completely unfair because they only apply to you and completely cripple your team.

For the first one, I have to agree with you. It sucks when that happens.
However, for the second one, I think the laws are there to see if you can, for example, not use fire attacks & still win.

Laws that say "No healing" is unfair when you have 3 fights in a row and they're all at your level.

Well, you don't have to do the law. It's just an extra challenge.
