Radishes

Post by Clarence »

I had a 20 year old plant that died recently ....

Anyway after I ripped out and disposed of the plant carcass I had a large pot of dirt to deal with ...

So I planted bought and planted radishes in there Thursday night ...

Today before I left at noon I saw ONE sprouted and it's very tiny and the only one I could find.

It's beginning!!!!

I hope the cats don't eat them.

I think it would be cool to randomly be able to reach out and eat a fresh radish from my livingroom.

Awesome! I used to eat peanut butter and radish sandwiches when I was little.

I can't stand radishes, no offense. Sorry for your loss. :(

I don't like them either.
You forgot to water it, didn't you?

I don't know if I'd still like them or not. I haven't had them since I was really young. Like, single digits. I should remedy that. I can't imagine I'd dislike them though. There aren't too many foods I dislike.

I didn't used to think much of radishes, but for the last couple of years my gardening parents have grown them and I've been coerced into liking them more. They're a bit bitter but other than that they don't have a massively strong flavour I've found.
