People who are obviously wrong, and get mad and pissed off when you prove them wrong and still say they're right.

This is gonna sound lame but we were watching Star Trek Voyager with a few friends.

My friends girl says "Oh, that's Neelix, I seen him in an episode with the bald guy."

She's talking about Patrick Stewart playing Captain Pickard.

I told her that's impossible because Voyager show started AFTER the Next Generation with Pickard ended, and there's no way Neelix would have been in the Next Generation show with Pickard.

She's like "Well I know what I seen, and Neelix was in it."

Ok, well Neelix was from the delta quadrant, and never met humans until Voyager got lost there and rescued him. And this all happened AFTER Patrick Steward stopped appearing in Star Trek episodes.

Even after I gave her all the facts she kept going on about how she knew what she saw, and I told her she must have been confused because these are the facts and I was polite and everything, but she bit my head off.

And then she starts saying Jeri Ryan was in it too with Patrick Stewart playing her 7 of 9 BORG role. They didn't even encounter 7 of 9 until like 4 years into the Voyager show which is well after Patrick Stewarts show ended. It's not @#%#% possible.

And it just made me so mad because she was piratically insulting me and telling me I'm wrong and you know? It's no big deal, I would have dropped it if she wasn't so nasty about the whole thing.

That was a bit of a rant, but she's always doing these things, she can't be wrong, and when you even attempt to tell her she's wrong she FREAKS OUT.

But this whole star trek thing was the most wrong thing she ever said to date. I'm not a Trekkie, I just watch the show once and a while, but most of the stuff I just said is pretty much common knowledge if you just casually watch the show.

So when you use it all up, they're totally shazam! for having water fights out in the street or randomly soakng passers by, you used to be able to get a good few meters reach out of the old ones, but the new style are pathetic...

Why on earth would you even consider using those for a water fight? O.o

I hate it when friends stay the night and trash my newly cleaned apartment, then leave without helping to pick anything up. That's why I went three weeks without cleaning. I was just too discouraged from my friend staying the weekend.

LOL I don't know why, but they are a Fairy brand and I suppose you could use them as pellets? They burst easily.

I have a small tip I clean up after my friends have been, not before.
It's just not worth it, and if they are real friends they haven't come to judge your house/flat. They've come to see you

I started to do this while my children were little. I'd invite everyone over to our house, friends and children alike. I'd clean for ages and before they came. The house would be wrecked and then I'd spend even longer cleaning up afterwards. Totally exhuasted and irritable.
After a while I decided to clean up after everyone left - much easier, and I wasn't grumpy or resentful.
As long as everyone is fed, watered and happy, that's all that matters.
Oviously, I kept the toilets clean and put clean towels out but that was all before they came.
I still do that - I concentrate on the food and drink before and the cleaning up after.
