Day two with so much to do.
I'm trying desperately to find the will.
However on this day, to my dismay,
I can't find the courage to climb this hill.

Day three, I want to be free,
But this aching pain just won't go away.
Try as I might, I can't seem to fight
This growing heartache with each day.

It's hard to believe it's really day four.
By now I thought he'd come through that door.
Someone I miss, a hug and a kiss.
Please, Love, I need something more.

For a moment it seemed
a poem
wanted to fill my head,
but alas
my mind stayed blank.

Touch.

I’m waiting for the bus
and I am thinking about you.
And then I realize
if you make me happy
It’s because I allow you
to make me feel that way.
and if you make me sad
it’s me allowing you
to touch my heart.

Lucky

I feel so damn lucky
for having friends
that accept me for who I am

I feel so damn lucky
for having a husband
who loves and forgives me

I feel so proud
for having children
who are certain, and confident with themselves

I feel so rich
for being able to read
all the books that I want
and write down my thoughts

I feel so happy
to be alive.

Beautiful dawn.

The sun is shining brightly
The sky’s the deepest sapphire blue
James Blunt is singing in my ear:
“Beautiful dawn”
and I can’t help but agree.
The rain has washed the winter
and purified the air
And now the sun takes over.
A beautiful dawn
turns into a beautiful day.

Noises all around
The humming of the airco
The music in the background
Cellphones ringing
Children screaming
adding to the cacophony
People talking
shouting
yelling
Alarms will start a howl.
Cars are racing
Trains are running
Planes go faster than their sound
STOP!!



hush, hush
Listen, quiet, carefully
enjoy the beauty of no sound
Take a moment,

Spring

Still white the grass and rooftops are
Still wet, sidewalks and streets
But between frozen leafs I see
green shoots of crocus peek

Each day more birds will sing their song
and with his loud display a dove
gives to his girl and to the world
the promisse of renewal, love

A shy,pale sun, with hesitation
tries chasing clouds away
At long last we get to see
a glimps of spring today.

Senses

My eyes are closed
I’m walking barefoot in the grass
I hear
I silent whisper in the trees
The sun warms up the air
I feel
The soft touch of a breeze
cooling my skin
I smell
the newly mown hay
with every step I take
I taste
the sun ripened sweetness
of the berries.
I open my eyes and
I see
the hayday of summer
a perfect day
a day they sing about.

Life
is good.

Winter

Peace descends from the sky
with every snowflake that falls
Purity covers the earth
and makes the branches bow down
Silence coveres the sky
All sounds are absorbed
but the rustling beneeth my feet
This is what I love
about winter.

I went to a party,

And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mum
So I had a Sprite instead.

I felt proud of myself,

The way you said I would,
That I didn't drink and drive,
Though some friends said I should.

I made a healthy choice,

And your advice to me was right,
The party finally ended,
And the kids drove out of sight.

I got into my car,

Sure to get home in one piece,
I never knew what was coming, Mum
Something I expected least.

Now I'm lying on the pavement,

And I hear the policeman say,
The kid that caused this wreck was drunk,
Mum, his voice seems far away.

My own blood's all around me,

As I try hard not to cry..
I can hear the paramedic say,
This girl is going to die.

I'm sure the guy had no idea,

While he was flying high,
Because he chose to drink and drive,
Now I would have to die.

So why do people do it, Mum

Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now t he pain is cutting me,
Like a hundred stabbing knives.

Someone should have taught him,
That it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had,
I'd still be alive.

My breath is getting shorter, Mum

I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments,
And I'm so unprepared.

I wish that you could hold me Mum,

As I lie here and die.
I wish that I could say, 'I love you, Mum!'
So I love you and good-bye

MY EPIC BEAR STORY FOR LEVEL 261!

On a day in July
A bear happened by
a very strange path in the woods.

It got on all fours
and then headed towards
the very strange path in the woods.

A car then drove by
and made the bear fly
past the grass
and the lush forest floor

soon light started fading
with the darkness invading
as the poor bear was
sent to deaths door.

The end.

Well my original thought was this thread for new stuff - not posted before on the old forum, and the other one for things that were being coped over. I think it didn't really work out though..
