Hooray for the forward thinking researchers in Rotterdam! They are doing experiments on building modular road sections made from recycled plastic... mostly bottles and such. My only question so far is if/when they have to replace a section, what do they do with the data cables and sewer pipes running through the inside?
Still really cool idea, and hopefully it could reduce the giant garbage patches that are floating in our oceans.

Good point. I'm sure though they thought about it. We Dutch are smart like that.GreatZot wrote: My only question so far is if/when they have to replace a section, what do they do with the data cables and sewer pipes running through the inside?
