To be fair, Fiat Chrysler have fixed most of the issues already.
However, I do prefer my machines work for me, not the other way around.

Chrysler did release a firmware update to fix this, but its crazy to think how much is of the car is 'by wire' now

Agreed. I like my foot to be directly connected to the throttle. Same with the brakes. I don't want some electronic middle man deciding how much I was pushing on the brakes, and if I actually get to slow down or not.
