No. You see, it is Garfield minus garfield. Note the different upper and lower case. So it is the Garfield comic strip minus garfield the cat. So you have Jon and Odie and even Nermal, but no Garfield. Why don't you click the link in Clarence's first post and see for yourself?

What I was telling you is the implied symbolism. Go to the website and check it out. Nobody cares that you can point out the obvious and unintended meaning of the name of the website.
Unless you are pointing out that Garfield minus Garfield is Zero, as in, life is meaningless; the null set. Which, if you read any of the edited comics on the website, you will see is the kind of funny and sad target the author (editor?) was going for.
