Halloween!

Post by bella »

I found a few nice ideas for a Halloween party and wanted to share. And I think we should have an avatar contest again for Halloween.

Soft pretzels are amazing (and I just added some to my grocery list) but the dry, crunchy ones are awful.

I'm actually REALLY looking forward to Halloween this year. It will be our first Halloween at the house and we will have little Trick or Treaters! Before I realized I was going to be in the house this year, I was originally planning on doing a rather scary costume. But now I'm wondering if I should actually go through with it? I don't want to be the neighbors that freaks everyone out in the first year and then they tell they children to never play with ours. D:

I'd be the one encouraging my kids to go hang out with the cool crazy lady who loves Halloween.

Try it out on a small invisible part of your body before hand.

I want to try these some day if I can find the right nozzle for the icing bag. There is even a shortcut, you can buy the muffins and only make the cookies.

Possible. If you have a look at the development of a mandrake it could fit. Plus it's edible, at least this one is.

I know absolutely nothing about Groot. I just get excited when I see it in in a store, and think "ONGHARRYPOTTERMANDRAKE!!!" and then get disappointed when I realize it's just Groot. Every. smurf. Time.

For those who didn't see on Facebook, I decorated my house for Halloween today. My gorgeous fireplace looks awesome. :D

Halloween wreath. I want one because stupid Mc Donalds here doesn't offer the Nightmare before Christmas themed kids meals.

We had loads of people round; it was probably the most enjoyable Halloween I've ever had because for the early years of my life my parents would turn all the lights off and pretend we weren't home for trick or treaters, and for the last couple of years we've just gone clubbing I think. I can't actually remember going to bed, but I remember most of the party. Our new house is bigger than the old one and suits parties really well, so it was good.
