Which is better? I'll submit my answer later so as not to sway results.

Be honest and tell me why you made your pick!

Dark meat is the win.

White meat is all dry and no fun

I usually throw it to the cats

Yeah, agree. And even if someone does the chicken well and the white meat isn't dry, it will be the next day. White meat does not re-heat well at all. Although, for people who prefer cold chicken, I suppose that's not too terrible. Lol

In a recipe, white meat is good because it takes other flavors well. By itself, white meat is bland and tasteless, even though it is lower in fat and all the blah blah blah.

Exactly, white meat can't handle itself on it's own, gotta be a part of something.

Eating white meat by itself is like doing other silly things such as sucking the ketchup out of ketchup packets by themselves.

I make (and so does Froot Loop) an awesome fried chicken using the breast. But aside from that, I'm a dark meat girl.

At Thanksgiving, I was helping FL with her plate, and she also prefers the dark meat. My mom made a joke after FL was out of earshot. I played stupid, partially because it was rather politically incorrect, and partially because it was about my ten year old daughter. I asked mom to explain the joke, and she said something about FL dating black guys. My response to that? "Mom. Her boyfriend IS black!" (He's also a really sweet kid and they're innocent enough about it that her having a boyfriend doesn't make me cringe, lol)

I'm confused, chicken is chicken. It's all white meat

If you have dark meat in your fried chicken, it's probably rat

I like chicken. Period! Who cares what color the meat is. I certainly don't, if it's chicken, I'll eat it. Which ever way it's prepared.
