I'm really enjoying talking with my kids about the election process lately, but I'm so sick of seeing febreeze ignorance. "Killary wants to kill your baby at 36 weeks! Trump will save us!" I unfriended someone today for posting a meme like that.

Meanwhile, my kids watch for political signs while we're driving and remember the names so we can research their positions when we get home. Apple Jack has formed his own opinion (which is very different from mine, haha) on who our district representative should be, but hates Trump still. Froot Loop has learned about gerrymandering.

Trump is faring better at 538, but is still way behind at electoral-vote.com.

Did all the sensible people give up already? Seems like everybody is fed up with the two big parties. Whoever wins, I hope this results in third parties getting stronger, so that people actually do have a vote.

There are a lot of great people here, who are reasonable, thoughtful, and intelligent. Unfortunately, the lowest common denominator is incredibly loud. Between that, the gerrymandering, and voter ID laws that make it difficult for some demographics who typically vote democrat to even get out and vote, I'm kinda scared for my country.

I was reading about Hillary's daycare plan. She wants to cap it at ten percent of your income. That would save me sooo much, so I might actually be able to afford to do more things with my kids! But no, let's vote for the rapist who will throw the poor under the bus.

I find it silly that both our primary candidates started the race with pending legal investigations that existed prior to Election season
