This is a nice and blood-boiling essay. It is as inspirational as it is infuriating.

Remember back in the 1960s when people all over the world were clamoring for technological and scientific advancement? Sure, it was largely inspired by a desire to have one-up on our enemies, but there was still a load of positive to come from it. Now? Not so much.
