My Grandfather hates weed so much

I think it does help people with medical situations, so why not?

The only negative is that it didn't include recreational as well.

Im on the fence. It will likely be used irresponsibly but the same can be said for alcohol.

I actually think weed is better than weed

Anyone I ever seen use it just wants to sit back on a couch and eat Doritos.

But people who drink too much can get angry and beat the shazam! out of someone / causes more fights etc etc

It does seem a bit odd that alcohol has been proven to be just as dangerous as many other drugs, if not more, and one's readily available whereas the other's illegal.

It's a cultural thing though, because alcohol is so ingrained in our culture whereas weed isn't.

I think legalising it for recreational purposes would be a good step. And medicinally it's proven to help a fair few illnesses and it's a shame that in countries like the UK people legitimately using it to minimise their pain have to do it illegally :/ As someone who smokes it fairly regularly, I would be all for it being legalised

For medical reasons it should be legalized. Especially for people with severe pain it should not be a criminal offense if they use it as remedy. A general legalisation could trivialise its side effects on the psyche and the physical development, especially of teenagers.

Making it legal recreationally doesn't mean it has to be legal for everyone. 18+ or something.

Well, alcohol is different everywhere. Personally, I feel that 21 for alcohol is ridiculous.

Ohhhh there should definitely be an age limit, completely agreed - maybe even 21 unless it's for health reasons. I mean safe as weed can be, you generally do mix it with tobacco which is obviously pretty shazam! for you.

That would be at 25.

We're learning more about the brain every day. It's closer to around 30, and who knows, tomorrow we could find out it isn't until around 50!

It's a very good thing coz it helps Ill ppl, still, there will be ppl who'd buy it as for medical use but they'd sell it to make money.. But hey, if it helps one sick guy ( nevertheless many of'em) it is blessed.

I saw ppl who can't speak or do other things smoking weed then they r able to do it all like ther is no illness at all.

I think like drinking or anything, it depends on who you are as a person.

With the wrong mindframe weed can be dangerous, same as if you're depressed and drink ... bad things happen
