There was an article in the news today about scrapping our pennies because apparently they don't have as much value as they used to or something...? It just seems so stupid though. People complain about pennies, but as long as you use them right they work. My shopping came to £14.09 yesterday and rather than giving the cashier £15, I gave her £15.09, thereby getting rid of a few pennies and also getting myself a nice shiny pound coin in change.

I hope they don't take away our pennies.
