Since it is your game/forum/world, how are the names on the members page ordered. Like I am number 65 but random one-time-visitors are in between me and the rest of civilisation. How does that work?

The list that you are loooking at, is in date and time order of members joining the forum.
There is a drop down menu at the bottom of the page with options to change the list order.
If you change it to 'post count' order and 'descending', you will see that you are number 8.

But check with Clarence first - lol I just realised this is ask the creator thread - woops sorry Clarence.
