Hey now!! You can't post this while I'm sleeping or at work then get upset when I don't post!!

Now that I'm here we're ready to rock!

We have had this discussion.... to some of us, the forum was just part of a game we no longer play; a vestigial organ in an extinct animal. To others, it is a community and a family and a different kind of friendship.

Clarence, when I don't see you in here for a few days, you know what I do? I come in here anyway and make a few little posts. :) As dead as the forum has been, it will never truly die.

I always have the forum open in a tab 40 hours a week when I'm at work

Other than that I got slack - try to check it at least once a day on off days

They're gone. They are all gone. Sizz, Summer, Eff, Captain America (what happened to him. Does anyone know?), Clovvach, all of them, they are all gone.

Bonus point for eveyone who knows where this is from:
"Where is everyone"
"They're dead Dave. "
"What about ... "
"Dead, Dave, they are all dead. Dave."

I show up almost every day by the way. Is case someone is interested.

I know where that quote is from, it's one of my favourite shows

Did you see the last episode where they revisited this scene in an interesting way?

I usually try to stop by daily.

Ali is around here and there, we send messages back and forth.. mostly us trying to figure out why technology seems to hate her.

Unfortunatly only the first season was aired in the Netherlands, so no. They do that with a lot of shows. Once uoon a time, Game of thrones, Wayward pines. I NEED to get the DVD's. Of Red Dwarf I mean.

OMG the show gets so much better and changes completely - the fact that you've only seen the first season is tragic

I realised that I don't understand why the Dursleys didn't want Harry to go to school... Like wouldn't they want to get rid of him for 9 months of the year?

They didn' t want him to learn anything magic .

He probably went to a normal school before Hagrid showed up.

I believe that is the case. He knew nothing of magic until Hagrid told him. I've always assumed the reason they were so against magic is because Petunia felt her sister was treated better than her for having magic and was jealous of everything she got to do, but could be completely wrong...? Haven't read the books in a while.

Yeah, I pretty much remembered that in a later movie when Petuna straight up complained about Lily and her magic.

I just hadn't seen them in 8 or so years so it was almost like jumping in with a fresh mind.

Could also be that it was her awkward way to express her concerns about Harry having to experience the same fate as his mother.
Since she could never reconcile with her sister when magic separated them - she being a muggle and Lily a witch - she decided for herself that magic is bad per se.

"Active Member Community Chat."

Hello. I am Great Zot and I am sitting in a hotel in Angola NY. It is about a half hour from Dunkirk, where I will be selling knives at a wine festival. Not a full on Bacchus style Roman wine orgy, just a bunch of local wineries and vendors. The average income here is pretty good, so I think I am going to do well. Fingers crossed!
