Long live the forum

This forum is almost dead.
Out of the 299 people registered, only about 6 post today.
All good things, unfortunately have to come to an end.
I've had a good 1 month on the forum, and I hope this forum will last.
I might be the last or one of the last new people who actually post regularly.
I want to say goodbye to everyone if this forum suddenly ends.

I regularly delete spam accounts, probably around 300 in the last year or so.

As for the forum itself, it's been running pretty lowkey for awhile, usually a place to check in, though I check pretty much all the time. Some ofthe regular members moved on, others lost.

This forum could devolve into 1 post every other month, and I would still check in regularly.. as there are a few people that lurk that I will private message on a regular basis.

Just know, NTG, that even if the forum is feeling empty, there's usually another around (usually me if I'm not at work, I know Clarence is on regular, since it's his site)

Long story short, the forum may slow, but it won't die for awhile

I really wish I joined the forum when I first found NELG in 2014. Idiot me decided to forget about NELG.
Worst decision of my life.
I could have had almost 4 years and still have a few active people on the forum.


I'll make it my job to make absolute sure that the NELG forum lives for the longest it possibly can.

Promise you bud, the forum ain't goin nowhere. There was a period in time, when it first started to slow down, that some of us were worried about the same thing. It's been a regular 6-7 of us with a few people joining, and leaving along the way. One thing for sure, we are always open to new people.

Fun fact. My first encounter with NELG, I saw my brother playing the game. He played for like a day then moved on. but I wanted to play too, and while playing I got stuck on Level 18 or 19, and made a help topic. The conversation that ensued from that help topic basically pulled me in forever.

I wonder how many people who posted for a while joined because they made a help thread for level 19...
