Joey wakes up in the hospital ... again ... he sees a doctor looking over his charts.
Doctor: "How are you feeling Joey?"
Joey: "I feel great actually."
Doctor: "Yes .. very interesting. Joey .... have you ever been sad?"
Joey thinks hard and thinks back on his life ... how he has always been happy. Remembering how he never cried in his life despite witnessing his parents get killed by mountain men at a young age.
Joey: "Huh.... I guess not. I always try to maintain a sunny disposition!"
Doctor: "Just as a thought. Joey.... you can never be sad. Your brain scans show that you are incapable of this. You are always to be happy no matter what!"
Joey: "Wow is there a cure?"
Doctor: "We did extensive research and there is not. Why would you even want it, balloon knot?"
Joey: "Just asking Doctor,
"The Doctor picks up a large metal hammer.
Doctor: "May I?"
Joey: "You betcha!"
The Doctor proceeds to smash Joey's hand with a hammer.
Joey: "Wow, that was fun!"
Doctor: "See what I mean?"
Joey: "WOW!"
Doctor: "Look at your hand."
Joey looks over in amazement.
Joey: "My hand! It's ... It's fine!!!"
Doctor: "Yes you have some kind of mutant DNA ... a perfect storm of genetics! You will heal with the power of 20 Wolverines. You will never know sadness ... you will never know permanent injury.... you are immortal and will never get bored of your endless life cause of your condition and...."
Joey is busy playing with a random string on his bed.
Doctor (rolls eyes): "Anyway, the hospital director is here to see you."
Hospital Director: "Joey...."
Joey is still blissfully playing with string.
Hospital Director: "Damn it"
The Hospital Director takes the string and proceeds.
Hospital Director: "Joey ... we understand our ridiculously powerful and large steel doors crushed your body today. Here's a million dollars so you don't sue or go to the media."
Joey: "Yay!!!"
Joey runs out of the hospital filled with glee and puts the money in a savings account and finds a large field.
Joey: "Happiness forever!!! WOOT WOOT!!"
Joey rolls around the field for hours and hours filled with perpetual joy.
