Yup, in the corners I find 4 buttons that look like some from the sequence, I don’t know about the how to use em part yet.

The four corners gets you the code

You leave the four corners after you have the numbers

You then use the numbers and the other buttons to solve the puzzle

After sitting the game on the shelf for years I replayed the final levels a couple years back and got stuck here too
