Stupid warning labels

Post by Naesme »

On a box of hammers: Do not eat

On a Hairdryer: Do not use in water

On a cup of HOT coffee: Caution, may be very hot

On a saw: Warning, sharp edges

On a waterbed: Do not use as a fish tank

Ok ok, so the last one doesn't exist (at least....i don't think so). Point is, how stupid does the government think we are? And why the heck do people who sue for these kinds of things (ex. being burned by HOT coffee, and then suing claiming you didn't know it was hot) actually get listened to? We should take all idiots who have tried suing for being cut by a saw, burned by hot coffee, or saw their precious pet goldfish die in their water bed (just wait, it'll happen) and lock em up in the nut house.

Well, the warnings are there because of the lawsuits. To rant about "how stupid does the government think we are" then go on to say "just wait, it'll happen" is kinda silly.

And the Stella Liebeck case isn't as frivolous as people make it out to be.

I don't remember where I saw this but I saw a chainsaw with the warning:

"WARNING! HAS SHARP EDGES! Do not use on neck or genitalia," and my response was all... WTF? :?

That would hurt.

Everything has a stupid warning label because somewhere along the lines someone did it. Crazy! I know, but some people are either A) really that dumb, or B) simply did it to exploit the fact that it did NOT have a warning label to sue for money. It's like that retarded smurf who tried to sue McDonalds because it made him fat. You dumb smurf. You went to a fast food restaurant to eat food that, yes tastes good, but is completely crap and mostly unhealthy for you. Wtf did you expect?

I wanna sue Clarence because he doesn't give me the password to Level 8.

He should have a warning label saying: "WARNING: Clarence will not give you password to level 8"

Children's Vitamin Tablets - keep out of the reach of children. How are they supposed to eat them exactly?

Paper should say: Warning! May cause papercuts!

We had a big smurf tub of lotion once (antisepctic of some sort) that said "not to be used internally"

Umm, yeah I really wasn't planning on trying it with something that size..
