OK, I need some info here... Can you get to the 2nd and 3rd screen on the 1rst screen? Or is that what I'm trying to figure out? Or can I go to the 2 screens, and I am trying to find a way to press the button? Please answer! My mac cancels out the "NO CLICKING" part of this level, so I've been playing with out that...

You just need the first screen, no need to click, no need to tab, only need to forked.

reached the part with the buttons (2nd and 3rd screen)... but now i'm stuck. tried clicking them in a special sequence, tried some passwords that came to my mind and of course the usual stuff... but still no progress. i'm out of ideas...
need your help...

I can "pass" the first screen without click and I can see the 2th and 3th screens (where I can click the buttons).
Can anyone say if it is a progress or just distraction? Because I tried a lot of things with these buttons and leaves me nowhere.

Read this thread again, there are some very good hints in there. When one thing doesn't lead you anywhere, try something else with it.

So... Im a little confused about these posts... for exemple: LeBossle says that you need only the first screen, no click, no tab... but I dunno if that kind of hint still works to me, or if its a hint just to pass the 1th screen.
Clovvach says to Nilex that he was misleading...
Shay says the answer is 42 (the hint is Level 42 or just a joke?)...
Then, I'm not sure what hints I should follow on that point of the level...
By the way, I've already tried:
-find a button sequences (including and excluding the big one button). Tried the direct and the inverted sequences given by tabbing, but doesnt works;
-tried to find any clue that could lead me to the right sequence (beyond the tab), found nothing... so, with 8 buttons, there are A LOT of possible combinations..
-of course, also tried, drag, print, type and guess somethings...

The answer is 42, because this is always the final answer, To everything. (it's a reference to a book called 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy')
Some things are distractions. Have a look at Nilex's hint and at mine.
