I am currently in the midst of reading the Wheel Of Time Series by Robert Jordan. Tis an excellent storyline. Rather typical fantasy style story, farmboy is destined to be hero of the world type thing, but still really well put together. And US, I agree, Legend of The Seeker did nothing good for the Sword of Truth series. Terry Goodkind is flippin amazing. *thumbs up*

I'm also gonna take this oppurtunity to plug Neil Gaiman. I think everyone who can read should read his books. Especially Neverwhere and American Gods. He also has written the graphic novel series The Sandman. Excellent work. Excellent indeed.

I have come across another favorite called Mercedes Lackey. I have yet to find a single book of hers that was not well written and throughly enjoyable

When you're done that, you should read "World War Z: The Oral History of the Zombie War" also by Max Brooks. It's the follow-up, but don't expect the same tongue-in-cheek tone. Some parts of it are hard to read, and you'll be ahead of the curd for the upcoming movie!

Did anyone ever read the Hardy Boys... series. I dunno how many books there are cos lots of people wrote them, but some of them are for younger kids and some are pretty scary!

I'd like to meet someone who's read them all cos, as I said, lots of different people wrote them, cos Mr Dixon doesn't exist.

I just liked the way they can be read at all ages - i started reading them when i was 6 and then was still reading them when i turned 11.

Lol

The last book I read was about a nurse who sees a toddler with a massive bruise on her head and gets suspicious, then sees her again in A and E and then investigates but almost dies cos someone tries to knife her.

I'm not sure - Harmful Intention or something :?

It wasn't as long as I wanted it to be and I think it's probably a 11 yr olds book, but I just found it and read it. A bit disappointing. Now I need something else to read though. Any suggestions? Not Twilight please!!!!

Did not have the time to even take a quick look at one of'em.

I started keeping a book by my bed and just reading it every time again and again, but there's a time when you just wanna burn the book.

Since I just saw the hidden text, ( :( ) I'm gonna suggest Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. It's amazing. :D

I just got done reading Vlad's Last Confession. It was about Vlad the Impaler, but it had zero to do with vampires, which was awesome. It was actually a historical thriller, and man, it was awesome. It had a certain cinematic quality to it. Then I read Dean Kootz's Frankenstein book three: Dead and Alive, which was alittle dissapointing. I waited three years for that book to come out, and it was kinda bland I guess.

Right now I'm reading Johannes Cabal: The Necromancer, and it seams to be pretty decent so far.
