I finally got to sit down and read some of it yesterday. I'm almost two hundred pages in. I like the story a lot better than the movie so far. In comparison, I'm only about to the point where Jacob tells Bella the story behind why the Cullens don't come to La Push in the movie. But I like reading the book so much better because I get to see far more interaction and background stories that you never got to see in the movie.

I'm assuming you already read the chapter entitled Carlisle. That's my favorite chapter in the entire series, probably. And they cut it from the movie.

Nope, I only made it to the chapter titled Port Angeles, then I had to go to bed, go to work, and fix two computers after work. Now I can finally open the book back up. Eight more chapters before Carlisle.

I did too. SOMEWHERE a man like this exists for me. :notme: It's fun to read how Bella thinks and acts. Sean and I are taking turns reading the book. He reads it when I'm at work, and I read it before bed. A lot of the things she says, does, and thinks remind us a lot like how I am in person. It's kind of amusing. I'm only to page 217 I think. If I remember right, Carlisle is around 330 something. I can't wait to actually get to read that chapter. In the movies, Carlisle is actually my favorite character, so I'm hoping to get a lot more interaction with him in the book.

He's one of my favorite characters, too. Bella reminds me of myself, as well. I'm awkward and clumsy :P

Right now, I just finished reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, a novella by Stephenie Meyer. It's about a newborn vampire in Eclipse, named Bree. It explains her life before the battle between the newborns and the Cullens. :)

Right now, I'm just reading through Forensics For Dummies. I have a lot of down time at work, so I just pick that up. I just finished Asphyxia, DNA, and Bodily Fluids. Right now, I'm reading about CODIS. :D

In simpler terms, it's the database for all the DNA of convicted felons. It's similar to the fingerprint database (AFIS).

Was that the girl we saw in Eclipse that the Cullens tried to save?

Yeah. The Cullens were willing to take her in, but the Volturi were like, "smurf you. She has to die"? Yeah, that one.

Did anyone read the Spiderwick Chronicles? I saw the movie yesterday, it was fun, but I wonder if the books are better.

I never got into those books. I always get those mixed up wth the movie Lemony Snicket's Unfortunate Events.
