Time

I am close to a decision. I have a personality that is easily addicted to mentally stimulating things. I am a voracious reader. I love video games. I am hopelessly addicted to this forum. So, to keep from wasting too much of my time and talent I am going to make an effort to only spend a certain amount of time in the forum each day. Perhaps an hour, divided into sections. I think I will keep a stopwatch by the computer just to remind me.

If you have the feeling you spend too much time here it's better to shorten the amount a bit or you might feel remorse at some time. Butr being the person you are I think you'd soon focus on something else.
I check the forum whenever I have time, in my breaks, if I want some distraction or just for fun. Not because it feels compulsory. If it's still fun, so what? If it eats up your free time make your decision.

In the moments of your life where you have control over what you're able to do with your time (aka "free" time), you should only limit the amount that you dedicate to one thing when you have something better to do. Variety can make one thing better than another at a certain time and then allow you to go back to the first at another. But the basic point here is, if you're having fun then don't let a few numbers stop or control you, unless the time actually indicates an oppertunity to do someting even better.

I try to get here as often as I can, usually I check it before I venture out or when I have access to a computer, I sometimes get too busy to stop by though.

Working at a call center helps though

Now i know what you were saying 4 months ago AND the whole time. about doing different things if not the forum , i thought you were talking BS , but you were right. if i have 2-3 hours a day (divided)for myself in doors alone ,i sometimes (most'a) come in here, while i could do a lot of other important things. Yet i like it here ,i like the ppl here , they're fun ,some balloon knot some smart .


We can laugh at ourself 'coz after all we're free to do whatever we want whenever we want , and this is fun.
