Oreos!!

How do you eat them? And I don't mean and of that "dunk or don't dunk" crap. Describe the process in great detail.


First I completely submerge the tasty little bastard in icy cold milk. I hold it there until the bubbles stop. (Why, yes, I do drown my cookies!) I'm trying to find a wholesome sounding way to say that I suck the milk out of the cookie, but I can't. Then I pop the entire mushy Oreo into my mouth. I usually force myself to only eat about half a package in one sitting. It takes serious self control.

Oh, and I only buy original Oreos. If I'm at someone else's house, I can deal with Double Stuf. Thou shalt not smurf with the Oreo!

I dunk half the Oreo in milk until the bubbles stop. Then I eat that half until the dry part. Then I hold the other have in the milk until it's soggy. Then I eat it. And it's damn good.

Cos of the way i eat'em .

I eat one ..just eat them AS IS .
And it feels so good, then i will take another one and break it to half , coz i just want - half - not a whole one .. Then i will eat the other half TOO , then i go for quarters ,I'll break it to half and again coz i only wants a quarter ----quarter by quarter , i 'll eat them all in quarters - as is - no milk - no shazam!- . I WILL STOP EATING THEM ONLY WHEN NON ARE LEFT so i don't buy them.

Famous Amos made some Oreo-style cookies that were the best in the universe! The filling was less greasy, and I really liked them. I have not seen them in the store for a long long time. If I am having a snack attack, Oreos are always near the top of the list. I usually soak them in milk (2%) just until they are about to fall apart, and then I delicately try to make the journey from the glass to my mouth. I often wait too long and the cookie breaks and falls back into the milk! Or sometimes the cookie breaks and falls on me! I often get sick of the creamy filling so I scrape the two halves together and remove the cream. Then I dunk the naked halves and eat them. 95% of the time I will twist them in half before I eat them. I like to try different knock-off brands of Oreo type cookies, and some are definitely NOT as good as the original.

So I'm playing with my cookie. I'm taking it apart, scraping the filling off with my thumb, eating the cookie, then eating the filling. I actually have some of the tasty cream filling on my finger as I type this!

When I eat my Oreos, I start with the ol classic of twisting them apart. I then scrape the filling off with my teeth because I'm too impatient to lick it off. Once the consumption of the sweet delicious filling is complete, I then dunk one half at a time in milk just long enough to wet them. (again, I am that impatient with my oreos) I can easily sit and eat an entire pack in one sitting. In fact, I think I'm gonna go out and buy me some oreos today. Thanks Chex.

OMG. I bought a package of reduced fat Oreos for my husband today, and just tried one. Sweet Jesus, that must be what evil tastes like! The cream filling is not creamy. It's both gelatinous and gritty. And gross. I had to drag my bottom off the couch, walk all the way into the kitchen and get a real Oreo just to get the offending taste off my tongue. My tastebuds have been traumatized. It's going to take my mouth a while to recover.
