To be the enlightened despot. I would love to have enough money and friends that I can just wander the Earth sharing anecdotes and analogies that help people see their own situation more clearly. Oh, and I wanna be bad bottom at Kung-Fu!

hahaha, having lived with Zot, this thread is more amusing if you see the process by which he posts.

so here, in no particular order, are my metaphorical two cents. one of them is for sure a wheat penny.

I think that creating synthetic gold and other already known stable isotopes of natural elements is well withing the realm of possibility, just not economic feasablilty. The previous sentence alone in scrabble is worth 2345234 points.

Zot is like a search engine, but with more awesome. Like somebody winning a fight with a coffee pot on a chain, it's just classier.

Questions regarding minutia fall into the Zot category of 'Stump the Chump'. See also, PT Barnum's famous idiom, It is immoral to let a fool have his money. Or something like that...

One of my personal favorite quotes is "All that is expected of a man this side of the grave; his good is knowing he is bad".

And since this thread is Ask the Zot, I won't threadjack. The question is:

Which is a mouse, the faster it spins?

did I already ask that?

Lol no you didn't ask it. And now I'm eagerly waiting for the answer as this is probably one of those things that only he knows the answer to?

Ahhhhh, Ninja. It is so refreshing to hear from someone who Gets It.
But we were not put upon this earth to "get it"... were we, Mr Burton?

~My computer's speakers has 60w. my gui'amp has 15w.
how come the amp seems to produce louder voice then the speakers? MUCH louder.

....like when i use the speakers i can enjoy listening when its on the Max. but with the amp i can not pass the 6 (out of ten) .

I realy don't get it.

I think it would be cool as anything to have a place on the Moon. You could watch the Earth rise. I could work on Low-G Taiji. It would be cool.

I prefer a handful of JellyBelly jellybeans rather than just one flavor. But around Easter you can find those big no-name beans for cheap. In those I like the Black Licorice ones and the mystery mint ones. The mystery ones are a little like teaberry. Oh, the cinnamon ones are also good.

I used to have a dog. Many many years ago. His name was Tenderfoot, due to one of his feet being amputated after a mishap with a rabbit trap. Yeah, he was a good dog.

Oh, I suppose I could ban that douche... I don't know..... but I am not going to.

I am a cat, man. I really wanted to throw that quote from Driver in here..... Anyway, I am a cat person. My cat is DangerCat and she is awesome in her own stupid way. I rescued her when she was a tiny kittie. She tipped over my pachinko machine more than once.

I am surprised by this. You are a speaker person, Effie! There is more to making sound that watts. You have resistance, which is in Ohms. You have Amperage. You have the physical size of the diaphragm to consider. Your 15W guitar amp is probably a 10 inch driver, and is pulling 4 ohms. That is a bunch of juice. Your computer speakers, though 60W, are 2 inch, 16 Ohms (that is a tiny little bit of current...) and are not designed to fill a whole room with sound. Does this make sense?

When i read this the 1st time it made sense, when i read it the 2nd time it made no sense ,'cos you said my speakers are 60w and 16 ohms and the amp is 15w and 4 ohms,so the less ohms ,the better? yes i noticed the 2 inc' and 10 inc' ...
But then again, it doesnt matter as long as i know it should make sense, and its all about designed...
I am peaceful now,and that is what counts.thanks.

Quick follow up. Resistance is how tight you are squeezing the hose that the electricity flows through. 4 ohms is squeezing gently, so lots of electricity can get through. 16 ohms is squeezing tighter, so less electricity gets through. Your headphones are usually 32 ohms, that is only a teeny bit of juice getting in there!

You said you wanted a lot of room, right? I think the Navigator actually edges out the Escalade on that one.... but I may be wrong. If they are close, I wold double check on reliability. Read the reviews at www.cars.com Here is one: http://www.cars.com/go/crp/research.jsp ... &year=2003 Sorry, I have not figured out how to make a cute little link out of a big one.
