Note To Self

Yeah, this is a rant. When I read this in a few weeks, I hope it will keep a fire lit under me. I have many good ideas, but I run out of steam. I have a motorcycle that is just a couple weeks' work and a couple hundred dollars from working great. It has been sitting for a year now. Untouched. Shame on me.

I have a little under 20 years of knowledge and understanding of Tai Chi martial principles and philosophy. I am not actively teaching or practicing. Shame on me.

I put together a computer to edit video. I have not edited any video... well, a couple of little bits, but nothing serious. Dammit.

Made a mock up of my children's book. Black and white illustrations, about 2/3 actual published size. Have done nothing since as far as cleaning up the illustrations or working toward self publishing. WHY NOT?!?!

There is a phrase that goes something like this,"A hinge does not rust." The idea being that if you use something, it will not degrade as quickly, that kind of thing. Well I am getting rusty. And I am getting tired of it. But apparently not so tired that I am willing to do something about it. Bah!

Okay then, time to get some stuff done. The clock starts ticking.

Set your priorities. Is there anything you want or need to do first?
Maybe ask yourself why you postponed things. Sometimes the only obstacle to overcome is yourself.
