Actually that picture was taken while my wife was away in Portugal, which is the only chance I get of having the place tidy (it's much easier with just me than with two of us and Miriam adding to the chaos) when all three of us are at home the place is a mess, all the post and leaflets/advertising crap that comes in gets dumped on any available surface space, chairs, table sofa etc along with the free newspapers that get shoved through our door, and the floor is always covered with toys - that get thrown into a couple of boxes at the end of the day and dragged out again the next morning

So, rather than a new topic just for info about me, i'll tenuously add tp this one.

I am posting from...... No the UK Mail office

The owners of the franchise retired, and since corporate have not been renewing franchises for several years, they shut the site down and offered me a job at a corporate site about 40 miles away.

So on the 21st of March I left UK Mail with a 17 year redundancy package, and on the 24th I started a new job with a competitor who has a depot in my home town (about 5 mins walk from my house) for a base rate of £50.00 per week more than I was getting before, and with a choice of company vehicles to use when I have to cover delivery routes rather than using my own van.
