Yeah, I learned the hard way that taking it away is not easy. You can see in the large, bright green leaf at the top a small spot where my hand twitched and accidentally went outside the leaf. I tried to take it away, which given how dark it originally was, wasn't too bad. But of course, it didn't take it all away.

Don't know if everyone can see this or not. I found my 9th grade Spanish project this evening. Our final project we had to make a children's story book. I never actually got finished with mine. I had it drawn and the story written, but I didn't finish outlining and coloring it. I still turned it in though, and to my surprise I still got an A because I put far more work into it than anyone else did in the class. My teacher wanted me to give him a copy of it when I finished, but I had lost it for years. It really makes me happy to have found it. Perhaps I will one day finish it, and if he still teaches there, I'll totally send it to him.

Squink and Sayukill are among the cutest things I have ever seen! Shay, you are beautiful inside and out.

I can't take credit for the actual characters unfortunately. Back when I was really big into Neopets.com, those three characters were the pets that I owned. The only thing I did with the characters is name them and send them on an adventure.

For those of you who can't see, I'll upload them to photobucket tonight.

Ok, so long story short, my co-worker and I sent requests for time off in February clear back in December. We have been asking them almost every day, and every day they give some flaky answer that they'll let us know by end of week. We still have not heard anything and this is my last working week until my requested vacation comes up next week. We still haven't found out, but at this point I'm just assuming the answer is no.

Graffiti has a new app called Flippy. It's a flip book maker with the power of Graffit.. if that makes any sense. Basically, it's the same as Graffiti except no text tool and you have lots of slides that you can save and create. My only pet peeve with this is that you can't move slides around. So if you know you're going to use a specific slide a certain number of times, you have to duplicate the slide and then building between them.

I spent like six hours on this thing! It looks simple, but damn it took a long time and was a lot more difficult than I expected.

back in the 90s Etch-a-Sketch made a digital doodler called the Etch a Sketch Animator.

It was 8 bit, black and white, but it gave you frames and everything.

This was very nice, Shay.

My first attempt with acrylic paint on canvas. I obviously need a lot of work with doing faces in general and also learning how to shade. For the top one, I used Photoshop's "painting" special effect. I like it a lot better than the scan of the original, which is the second one.

Mother of god. I think I recognize one character, and it seems to say girl in a fancy English. Can we get a translation?

Chex, they are all incomplete parts of song lyrics...
"Mama, Oooooo didn't mean to make you cry... if I'm not back again this time tommorrow, carry on, carry on, as if nothing really mattered"
"Mimi I'm surprised, a bright and charming girl like you, hangs out with these slackers, who won't adhere to deals."
"She was a lot like you, maybe not quite as heavy"
"Kiss me, it's beginning to snow"
they stop in the middle though
