Every couple of weeks, Time Warner decides to smurf up for a few hours. That means no TV and no internet. I have no warning about when this will happen or how long it will last. Yep, this service that I'm paying for just randomly turns off. It happened to me today. It wouldn't be so bad if I had some warning, or if it was a one time freak occurrence, but this is getting ridiculous.

Are they offering Verizon FiOS in your neighborhood?

We have it at our house and it's great; we get HD, lots of channels, and if there's a storm, we don't lose our TV because it's cable, not a satellite on our roof.

Can't you get internet conaction on your l'top from... the "air" you know wireless net conc'? when i loos my net i'm just searching for an unlocked wireless net then i login to someone els's computer and the rest is history.

I'm totally not an addict. I can quit any time I want.
