That is an amazing pic. I think it's a little bit overexposed though. Would you mind if I play with it a little?

I'm a bad girl: I didn't wait for your approval:

What I did is I lowered the brightness and added some more contrast. After that I adjusted the levels a bit. Then I used the crop-tool to have the pump vertical.

haha, thanks. I'm usually one who will go back and take a new pic instead of editing. I mean, I'm good at editing, I just prefer unedited pics :P

It's mostly like that because I didn't let my phone adjust to the lighting, I just pulled it out, shot it, and walked away. I mainly took this pic to send it to mother so she could see what it looked like(She wasn't home)

Even the best photographers edit their photo's. There is not one commercial photo that is not edited.
I recently worked with an author on a book about WW II, did the pay-out for it. If I had not edited Most of the photo's the book would have looked like crap.

Still a little bright.. but then again, it looks brighter because the forum has a black background

It's not too bright though. This shows that a bit of clouds often make for better pics.
A trick for next time, when the sun is shining and it's too bright: hold your hand above the lens to make a shade. Make sure though that your hand is not visible on the pic.

I made a new DA account recently, mostly to be able to comment on other peoples work when I want to use their pics for youtube vid uploads

But didn't want it empty, so I uploaded a couple of pics I took with my crappy phone camera, my Pony pic and a couple of edits. They got favorited a few times and the second has been added to a couple of galleries. When I get around to it, I'll hook up the actual camera and download to the laptop. Got about 3k pictures on there that I never transferred
