Why the heck do you have to get up that early?

I get up at 5, have coffee, get ready, check the computer, at the gym by 6 and back by 8 because my husband leaves to work by 8.

I don't want to take the kids with me because of summer break... it's $4 per child and going Monday thru Friday it will add up.

I feel exhausted just reading that!
It is still term time for us here though. My husband leaves the house at 7.10a.m every morning.
You're lucky that yours leaves later Summer.

I run a coffee group for mums on Tuesdays between 8.45a.m and 10a.m. It works well - they drop their kids off and come in for a coffee.
It will stop after next week when the schools close for the summer.

Summer holidays screw us moms up... completely imposes on our lives

Yeah I used to get to a stage in the hols, when I would think, 'Please just go back to school, please'

Now i just think, 'Please just go back to work, college, University, whatever!'

I went to the store to get Apple Jack a new carseat, and it started pouring as I was getting them into the car to head home. Both kids passed out on the ride back, and I managed to carry them both inside without waking them. It's now blissfully quiet, and I'm enjoying the sound of the rain.

It's completely dry here. The Michael Jackson Memorial is on the TV in the other room. Today is a relax kind of day... for me, anyways.

Today I go about my day at work, not really focusing on the task at hand as my mind is elsewhere. Chaz is at the doctor's office doing compatibility tests to see if he can get the liver transplant. If he can't, he won't last a year. Here goes hoping.

I am having a bit of a stressful time today, and yesterday. Endless phonecalls to an organisation about student finance.
I can't say anymore until it's sorted.
I have waited for hours now for someone to ring me back. I feel sick.
