Not a rant, just a reminder.
Do not ever click on any SPAM links you see. The hits they get will encourage more spammers to head this way.
Don't do it.

Sometimes the spam is funny. One of the last ones I deleted contained butt plugs and R.L. polos in the same post. A spam bot mastering the art of depriving a post and going off topic at the same time.

If it's a link in a user's profile (not an actual post), sometimes I will get on my phone to click the link so I can verify if it's a spammer or not. I don't always consider all links spam. *shrugs*

Copying and pasting the link into another window is perfectly fine.
