Love this version of an old song. (love the original, too)
It's not that old, :) I love this song too.
The original was by Toto I think and it was in the UK charts when I first met my husband.
We went to Africa on our honeymoon too, a few years later, so it must be about 1982/83 when it was released.

It's old to me; it was released before I was born!

Lily Allen - smurf You

I love this song. It's all about not hating and being accepting and understanding. :<3:

Lily Allen - The Fear

I like this song because of the melody and beat. :D

This song was recorded almost ten years ago. Still feels like yesterday.

I'm listening to "Sing, Sing, Sing" by Louis Prima. Then I shall listen to "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap.

This is Robin Trower and Jack Bruce. The song sounds like it was recorded back in 1974 -- the era of awesome! -- but it just came out a year or so ago!

I loved the xx! I was so glad when they won the Mercury prize back in 2010, they really deserved it.

I am COMPLETELY in love with this. I absolutely adore it. Trouble is, this band's debut doesn't come out until March.

I had never heard of the xx before until that night. They popped up on Pandora while I was in the process of making a Tegan & Sara station mixed with Eisley. I heard that song and instantly fell in love. I spent the rest of the night looking up more of their music on YouTube and found some songs of theirs I really like a lot. There are a few songs I'm not a complete fan, but a majority of there stuff is really good.

Also haven't heard of Dry The River. Listened to your link a few times. It's great! I am looking to hearing more music by them.

On a side note... I sang some Franz Ferdinand yesterday morning and thought of you.

I guess they're a lot bigger in England. Its awesome how you listen to british music!!! I think the good thing about the xx is that they're pretty different to most other stuff.

I hadn't heard of Dry The River until the latest issue of Q magazine (the music magazine i'm subscribed to), which was like a week ago. i love them!!! Franz Ferdinand are awesome and always will be.
