Re: The Office
I'll watch it online tonight. Mr. chex would be very offended if I watched it without him.

Re: The Office
I thought it was quite good. I will gladly discuss any part of it once others have watched it.

Re: The Office
Pam is on a real life maternity leave and will be back soon.
As for the recent pool party episode, there's people complaining that maybe Jim was driving drunk?
I watched again and thoguht he was fake drinking, but the wine bottle was uncorked.

Re: The Office
Yeah, Mr. chex said that too, about the driving.
I assumed the actress was having her baby, but I wasn't sure what was going on with the character.

Re: The Office
When I first watched it I thought Jim was just trying to escape, and I still felt that way the second time.
He was desperately trying to get out of there all night and Meridith boxed him in, so he drove over the bush to get out.
It's just when I look back he was drinking so that's really bad.
The next new episode is in 2 weeks, maybe they will tack something in there to fix this?

Re: The Office
It is hard to really visualize how much time they spent touring the house. It seemed to go on and on, a very long time. If so, it could have been long enough to metabolize a fair amount of the alcohol to the point where Jim was below the legal limit. In Pennsylvania it is .08 % BAC. We assume Jim is about 180 lbs, the bottle of wine was approx. 750 ml, he may or may not have drunk the whole thing (he quite possibly could have "spilled" some in the bushes or wherever...), and it took at least two hours for the tour of the house, room to room, slowly dissecting Mr California's unfulfilled fantasies... I think Jim was okay to drive by that point. At least legally.

Re: The Office
The sad thing is the common viewer won't analyze it that deeply.
"Jim was drunk!"
the end

Re: The Office
Yes, I just watched it! Both babies are named Philip? Odd. I have to admit that I did not see the twist with Angela's baby coming.
Oh, and the baby was likely about 3 months old. Newborns are not that alert, and they do not pull their hands together like that. Not to mention the cheeks! I know it's standard for television, but it annoys me.

Re: The Office
This last week I have watched two episodes, just because of you. It didn't even make me smile, let alone laugh. I'm sorry, but I don't even find it remotely funny. I will not repeat this experiment.

Re: The Office
I think I'm caught up, but either way, I want to at least rewatch the last few episodes tonight. I wasn't paying close attention. Scrabble and all.
