THE OLYMPICS
I enjoy watching the Olympic athletes competing and giving their all.
Also, the Canada Synchronized Diving Team are in possession of two pairs of nice buttocks.

Re: THE OLYMPICS
The Olympics are nice and all, but I hate watching them. It just reminds me how I was told all my life I could do/be anything I wanted with the right amount of effort. I wanted to do be a gymnast and go to the Olympics. My grandma enrolled me into gymnastics and then a couple years later they said I was too tall. My dream was crush. CRUSHED I TELL YOU!!! D:

Re: THE OLYMPICS
I love watching the swimming. Mens swimming is fantastic because they do that funny eel movement when they start swimming to speed up. I just don't like how you can't escape the Olympics now. Even Google ensures that! In every city there are London 2012 signs, half the shops are selling blow-up torches, etc. Still, I'm really excited about the swimming, diving and gymnastics.
Did any of you see the opening ceremony?

How did this happen?! I missed the swimming! Ah well, as BBC keeps reminding us, I can watch it on iPlayer. Not really the same though.

I didn't miss the synchronised diving. We came fourth . Looking forward to the solo diving though.

Olympics = meh
I can't be bothered to watch any part of any event... when I was younger & in synchro (swimming), I used to try to watch the synchro events, but now none of it holds any interest for me. I just see it as a colossal waste of money.

Liu Xiang. :(
***SPOILER ALERT***
Won the gold medal in 2004(Track and Field)
In 2008 AND 2012 he didn't finish because of his right Achilles Tendon

Poor guy, failed at the first hurdle after all that training. This might have ended his career.
And team GB is amazing indeed.

Re: THE OLYMPICS
It annoys the hell out of me that of all the 48 channels we're having, none airs the synchronised swimming. I'm not really into sports, but I'd love to watch that.

Re: THE OLYMPICS
I couldn't find it either. We apparently have 24 channels showing the Olympics (sounds stupid, but maybe it's 24 BBC channels existing), but the red button to find the other sports doesn't work. I've found three different channels showing three different sports, but not the ones that are supposed to be on at the time that I want to see.

One of our weight lifters had the handle bar crashing onto his neck while trying to lift 196 kilogramms >.<. He was able to leave on his own two feet, hope he's ok. He's the one who won the gold medal in Peking last time in this category. Now he won't be able to defend it.

I was in London yesterday, and on the tube there were so many Dutch people all wearing orange, and Helen goes 'I love Dutch people' and we just started talking about the Olympics with them they're so friendly!
