What inspires you? In general.

Man, it seems like nothing inspires me. Or everything. I'll answer this in more detail a little later. Honest, I will!

Either extremely high energy or extremely low energy. Hence why I've not done much anymore but the "B O R E D" piece. Obviously, that was extremely low energy...

Music does, and colours, people, thoughts and dreams. Honestly, all the real paintings that I made are made after I dreamed about something.
When I browse through my clippings I get inspired.
When I am making something, whatever it is, I get a thousand new ideas.

The one piece (writing) I ever finished and was actually proud of was inspired by real life.

For me, Inspired is different than impressed or awestruck. Inspired is like awestruck plus motivated. Once in a while, I get this. Awestruck is what I got when watching Uli Roth play the guitar from ten feet away. Inspired is how I feel right now, and why I am buying a ticket to the Experience Hendrix show that will be happening on the 9th.

Ahhh, hmmmm, I'll probably add to this a little later.

Yes, Zot is right. "Inspiring" and "impressive" are two different things, Impressive is "Wow, that's really good" Inspiring is "Wow, I really want to do what that guy/girls doing, that well,". Just thought I might bring it up.

Thoughts, dreams, places, being alone, being with people, the night, the moon... And so on... There is a lot that inspires me.

Not very many things inspire me. It's only those rare, brilliant moments in life, that give me enough inspiration to last me a long way.

I have a thing where sometimes I feel truly inspired, but it does not last. The movie Man Of LaMancha does that for me. Changed my life. Plus, Sophia Loren was HOT! Anyway, even though the movie fundamentally changed the way I think about the Universe, I can't maintain a lofty level of awesome indefinitely. I always come down to normal, or just a little awesome.

Go watch Man Of LaMancha. Peter O'Toole and Sophia Loren. 1964, I think. Nope, it was 1972.... the year I was born.... Interesting.....

I don't really get inspired, I just have to drift with the tides along the varied shores of shazam! happens... and keep hold of the hope that some of it is good. Life have been a mixture of extremes for me - particularly with the bad stuff, but also some very good. But the one thing I know is that anything I try to make happen will always fail, and not only fail but turn around, kick me in the balls, pull my pants up over my head and push me out in front of heavy traffic.

So whatever happens happens, i'm just here for the ride
