DareDevil
So I rented this tonight for my son and I. When I asked the guy at the rental place if it was any good he said "I saw it the first time when I was 15 and thought it was awesome. I then watched it again and it sucked. But if it's for your kid he will love it."
So I rented it.. lol.
Meh... wasn't good and wasn't too bad. My son did love it though. Had to shut off the love scene part and tell him the tv wasn't working. He bought into it, so all was good.

Re: DareDevil
Hehe, skipping love scenes, that's nice.
Well i hope your son don't copies all the stuff he saw and stumbles around as a blind super sensed action hero.
I liked the movie cause of the action, but there are better movies out there yepp.

Re: DareDevil
I though it was awful. Just a boring love story of a blind guy who can see vibrations.

I think Bullseye was the best part of the movie.

Re: DareDevil
DareDevil was one of the few comics that I read as a youth. He and Hawkeye had some of the most detailed character development. In my opinion, the movie failed to exhibit this. Ben Affleck is lame.

Well at least it didn't have reverse character development like Transformers 2

I don't even want to see Transformers 2. I just hear way too many bad reviews. I don't want it to ruin the first one for me.

Re: DareDevil
imagine the sound of a blender with random 'pew pew pew' noises here and there, for 150 minutes, with a picture of Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox on screen. That about sums it up.Shay wrote:I don't even want to see Transformers 2. I just hear way too many bad reviews. I don't want it to ruin the first one for me.

Oh, I like the first one. I am just saying that the second is absolutely nothing but random sound effects and explosions for 2 and a half hours.

The first one was awesome because I had low expectations and I didn't think they could pull it off, and they did an AMAZING job
The second one was bad because it couldn't possibly meet the expectations the first one set up.

Re: DareDevil
Oh, I wasn't implying that you didn't like the first one. I meant that the second one just puts it to shame in general and kind of slaps the first one in the face.

Re: DareDevil
Yep. Don't get me wrong, if you want a ton of violence and don't care for a story with a ton of questionable plot holes, go ahead and watch the second one.
Anyway...back on topic I s'pose. Dare Devil is blind, you guys.

Re: DareDevil
Did anyone laugh when the Kingpin threw Daredevil against a wall and it looked so ridiculous and fake?

Re: DareDevil
We watched it again last night cause the older 2 didn't get to see it. Yeah, not a movie you wanna see twice.
Ben Affleck doesn't play an angry guy very well. I still love Jennifer Garner though.

I didn't even bother watching the whole movie. It got boring pretty fast.
